Columbus, OH — Major League Baseball legend Don Zimmer, 83, who spent 66 years as a manager, player, coach and executive, died May 4, 2014.

While managing the Chicago Cubs, he spent many nights at Sportsman’s Park and Maywood Park. He was a friend of many of the drivers, owners and trainers on the Chicago harness circuit.
