Toledo, OH — Raceway Park General Manager Mike White announced today the hiring of Jessica Baumgartner as Director of Customer Service and Marketing.

Ms. Baumgartner holds a public relations degree from the Ohio State University and has worked on marketing and public relations campaigns in Ohio and Florida.

“We’re excited about having Jessica join the Raceway Park team,” said White. “She will be tasked with developing our Players’ Club, VIP Room and Newcomer’s Corner program. In addition, she will be another resource to which our customers can turn if they need assistance.”

“I am very happy to join Raceway Park and Penn National Gaming, and I look forward to becoming familiar with our current guests, as well as developing a base of new guests,” said Baumgartner. “The gaming industry is very competitive, and I hope to help Raceway Park continue to succeed and to build on that success in the future.”

Included in Ms. Baumgartner’s duties will be the scheduling and execution of handicapping contests; press and media relations; and maintenance of Raceway Park’s web site. She will begin her new duties the week of January 15.

Raceway Park is a harness track owned by Penn National Gaming, Inc. Located in Toledo, Ohio, Raceway Park offers live harness racing and simulcast wagering on Standardbred and thoroughbred racing. Raceway Park’s 2007 live season will begin on March 24 and end November 11. Live racing in 2007 will be contested on Saturdays at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday and Monday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
