Saratoga, NY — Beckarama (Roll With Joe) recorded his sixth victory of the season on Friday night (April 7) as the Melissa Beckwith trainee scored at odds of 1-9 at Saratoga Casino Hotel.

Bred and named by his trainer Melissa Beckwith, Beckarama collected his sixth win of 2017 on Saturday night at Saratoga.

Coming into the race with five seasonal wins in nine starts, Beckarama cruised to the lead in Friday’s $6,400 contest for colts and geldings. The favorite never had an anxious moment as he coasted to an open-length victory in a career best 1:55.3. The win was one of three consecutive on the card for Melissa Beckwith and trainer Mark Beckwith, who wound up teaming up for four victories on the night continuing what has been a record-breaking pace for the Beckwith barn early on in the 2017 campaign.

Three-year-old pacer Beckarama was bred and subsequently named by Melissa Beckwith.
