Bee A Magician maintains narrow lead in Poll

Freehold, NJ — A Rocknroll Dance’s stakes-record win in the Canadian Pacing Derby vaulted the 4-year-old male pacer into this week’s Top 10 in the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll. A Rocknroll Dance’s 1:47.2 win in the CPD also equaled the Mohawk track record and Canadian record.
Bee A Magician and Captaintreacherous, who won stakes races Monday, remained 1-2 in the voting, separated by two points with each receiving 17 first-place votes.
Bee A Magician won the Simcoe Stakes for 3-year-old filly trotters in a stakes-record 1:52.3 while Captaintreacherous captured the Cane Pace, which is the first jewel in the Pacing Triple Crown for 3-year-old pacers.
