Bellsandwhistles sharp in the slop in Meadows feature

Washington, PA – Bellsandwhistles retook the lead with a confident quarter-pole move and made it stand up in the slop as he captured Monday’s (Oct. 7) feature at The Meadows, a $12,000 Conditioned Trot.

Tony Hall gave Bellsandwhistles a 30.1 second-quarter breather, which helped the 4-year-old Muscle Massive-Sierra Belle gelding stay strong through the stretch and score in 1:55.3. When Dawson Springs finished second by 3/4 lengths, it gave trainer Scott Betts the exacta sweep. Dr Judge completed the ticket.
