Columbus, OH — Harnessracing.com is reporting that driver/trainer Daryl Bier broke his pelvis in a four-horse accident during Thursday morning (June 12) qualifiers at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs.

Bier’s horse, the 4-year-old trotter Punxsutawney, a winner of more than $300,000, died in the accident.
