We The People (#8) was the fifth winner of the night for the tandem of driver George Brennan and trainer Gilberto Garcia-Herrera.

Uilleann ($15.40), a professional maiden after 23 career starts, finally found her way off the schneid with a 1:54.4 victory in the $15,000 first race pace. The 3-year-old daughter of McArdle, owned by JMF Racing LLC, won by a half-length.

Driver-trainer completed a $36.20 early double when favored Nowerland Firebird ($4.60) beat the boys, wiring the $10,000 second race trot (1:58.1). The lass is co-owned by Garcia-Herrera and Michi Abday.

Benn’s Sure Thing ($3) was a popular, going-the-distance winner in the $10,000 sixth race trot (1:59.3) for the same co-ownership combo as Nowerland Firebird.

Brennan and Garcia-Herrera prevailed with pocket-sitting Glass Prince ($5.20) in the $19,000 seventh race pace (season’s best 1:53.4). Like Uilleann, Glass Prince is owned by JMF Racing LLC. He is now 3-for-7 this season.

We The People ($20) overcame a long mile from the eight hole, picking off 4-5 choice Oil Magnet (Matt Kakaley) and winning the $21,000 10th race pace by a neck (1:53.3). It was an ownership triple for JMF Racing and the second consecutive victory for We The People.

For the record, Brennan had four other drives Monday night, but did not win any of them.
