‘Big Three’ continue to lead Poll

Freehold, NJ — Sebastian K, Father Patrick, and Sweet Lou — who are among the horses that will highlight Saturday’s Hambletonian Day card at the Meadowlands — remained entrenched in the top three spots in this week’s Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll.
Sebastian K, who remained No. 1 in the rankings, won his elimination race for the John Cashman Jr. Memorial while Hambletonian favorite Father Patrick competed in a qualifying race. Sweet Lou, who is third in the poll, won the top-level handicap at the Meadowlands in his prep for the U.S. Pacing Championship.
McWicked, who won last weekend’s Delvin Miller Adios, and Hambletonian Oaks prep winner Shake It Cerry improved their positions by one spot in the rankings.
