Sweden’s leading driver, Bjorn Goop is a busy man. On Friday afternoon he raced at Solvalla, Stockholm and hours later at Cagnes sur Mer in Southern France.

At Solvalla Goop won an elimination in the breeders Course series with the 2-year-old Mister J P, who was a very easy winner in 1.58.1f – a new Swedish record. Mister J P is sired by the late Taurus Dream out of Baghdad Dream, she by Yankee Glide. Mister J P is bred by J P Barjon of France, who bought Baghdad Dream in Harrisburg in 2011 in foal to Taurus Dream for $22,000.

As USA-bred Baghdad Dream cannot be registered in the French studbook – Barjon chose to register her offspring in Sweden.

After the win Goop was off to France, where he late Friday night won with Timoko at Cagnes sur Mer in the Group II race, Grand Prix du Conseil General des Alpes.

Timoko, who three months ago won the Elitlopp as an easy winner in 1.52.2 will now be headed for the Master Trot final in the Copenhagen Cup in September
