Blue Ivy strong early and late in Meadows feature

Washington, PA — Blue Ivy confidently pocketed Lydeo at the quarter then held off her Lightning Lane challenge to capture Wednesday’s (Aug. 2) feature at Hollywood Casino at The Meadows, a $12,500 distaff conditioned pace.

Once on top, Blue Ivy easily deflected the first-over bid of Creme Delight but still had to deal with Lydeo. The 7-year-old daughter of Captaintreacherous-Ali Blue dug in for Aaron Merriman, scoring by a half length in 1:51.1. Creme Delight finished third.
