HARRINGTON, Del. – Daniel and Thomas Courtemanche’s Bobnoxious scored his second straight win in 1:54.1 in the $18,500 Open Monday at Harrington Raceway.

The win pushed the Sam Beegle-trainee over the $130,000 mark in 2005, which puts him ninth among all pacers in North America in earnings for this year.

Bobnoxious scored his second straight win in 1:54.1 in the $18,500 Open Monday at Harrington Raceway.

Driven by Tim Curtin, the even-money Bobnoxious set pedestrian like fractions of 29.1, 57.4, and 1:26.3 while Make a Success chased him in the pocket. The two dueled in the stretch but the slow early pace left Bobnoxious with plenty left as he won by three quarters of a length.

In the $16,500 Delaware Special, George and Tina Dennis and MJ Racing’s Bramalea Road (George Dennis) won wire-to-wire at 7-to-1. Favored Dreamfair Titan finished second, while Tyler A was third.

The 10th race on the program produced a record payout, with a $20,565 trifecta. The payoff was largely due to driver Brandon Givens and Mac Only Bill ‘s win at odds of 80-to-1. He paid $177.80 to win.

Driver Jim Morand won four races on the card.

Racing continues Tuesday, with a 5:30 p.m. post time.
