Braxten Boyd wins four at Monticello

Monticello, NY – It was a Grand Slam for Braxten Boyd on Monday (Aug. 23), at Monticello Raceway, as he drove the winners in four consecutive races. It comes after he drove for a Grand Slam over the weekend at Tioga Downs and then can back on Sunday (Aug. 22) to win another. If you’re Tim Tetrick or Andy McCarthy, winning nine races in three days isn’t a big deal. But when you’re 21-years-old, it’s a really big deal.

Boyd is quickly making a name for himself in the industry. When asked what he attributed his recent success in the Monticello Raceway paddock to, Boyd said, “lately I have had the horsepower and every horse that I drove today got a really good trip.”
