Breeders Crown champions make move in Poll

Freehold, NJ — Breeders Crown champions enjoyed a big week in the voting for the Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown poll. Southwind Frank, Freaky Feet Pete, Always B Miki, Pure Country, and Wild Honey all made big moves in the rankings.
Southwind Frank won the Breeders Crown for 2-year-old male trotters and vaulted from No. 5 to second in the rankings behind Wiggle It Jiggleit. Freaky Feet Pete, the 3-year-old male pacing champion, moved from ninth to fourth in the poll while Open Pace winner Always B Miki, 2-year-old female pacing champ Pure Country, and 3-year-old female trotting champ Wild Honey all joined the Top 10.
Another Crown winner, D’One, moved within two points of the Top 10.
Wiggle It Jiggleit, who was not eligible to the Breeders Crown, remained solidly in the No. 1 spot. The 3-year-old pacing gelding won a division of the Circle City last weekend.
Rankings based on the votes of harness racing media representatives on a 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 basis.
