Breedings donated to Northfield Horsemen’s Emergency Fund

Northfield, OH — The Northfield horsemen are excited to announce the generous donation of of breedings to Cam’s Card Shark and Village Jolt from Jeffrey Snyder, Nuclear Breeze from Thomas Cooke, and Keystone Savage from Tom King III to benefit the Horsemen’s Emergency Fund.

Cam’s Card Shark has had an illustrious career in the breeding shed with foals earning more than $110 million. He currently stands at Hanover Shoe Farms of New Jersey with a $7,500 stud fee.

In just over two years of racing eligible foals, Village Jolt has sired winners of more than $2 million and stands at Fashion Farms in New Hope, Pa., for a $4,500 fee.

Services for both studs come with return privileges.

Nuclear Breeze is the all-age world champion on a five-eighths-mile track with a time of 1:48.2. His first crop of 2-year-olds will be hitting the track in 2011. He stands at Nandi Farm in New Freedom, Pa., with a $3,000 stud fee.

Keystone Savage, winner of the Peter Haughton Memorial and the New Jersey 2-year-old of the year, saw his offspring average $10,000 at the Hoosier Fall Sale. He stands at Schwartz Boarding Farm in Berne, Indiana, for a $1,750 fee.

Bidding will take place from now until approximately 8 p.m. on April 7 during the Northfield Park Wall of Fame dinner and awards ceremony.
