from the Chester Downs publicity department

Chester, PA — Leading driver Tim Tetrick was 860 miles away at the Illinois State Fair races, but George Brennan filled the void on Monday (August 13) at Harrah’s Chester, driving the winners of the first five events on the card en route to registering six victories on the day. The six-bagger equals the Harrah’s Chester record for most driving victories on one card set by Tetrick earlier this meet.

Brennan captured the first half of the early double with Nights Echo ($6.60) before coming back 20 minutes later to score with Cut Loose Hanover ($6.20) in the second half. The reinsman then won the third race with Happy Commando ($11.60), the fourth with Dawn Izza Witch ($12.80) and the fifth with Artist’s View ($2.40). Brennan also scored with Louise Artstrong ($12.20) in the eighth race.

Brennan captured seven races at The Meadowlands on August 11, 2006, which also stands as a track record (shared with John Campbell and Mike Lachance).
