Celina, OH — It was quite a busy night in The Signature Series with both the Mercer County Fair in Celina and the Miami County Fair in Troy holding Signature Series events.

Two divisions of the Grand Lake Pace took place with the some of the fastest times this year at the Mercer County Fair. In the first division, Pocket Money (4, g, Zest For Life-Racy Pockets-In The Pocket), driven by Chad Peter and owned by JP Fitzwater and Ralph Roughton, took home the win in a time of 1:59 over JT Stena, who is presently in second place for the SS Pace title.

In the second division Caramel Dumpling (6, h, Towner’s Big Guy-Spicy Dumpling-Dexter Nukes), driven by Roy Burns and owned by Melissa Levan, had the fastest time of the night for the win — 1:58.3 over SS Pace title leader Torpedo Joe, who was second.

At the Miami County Fair in Troy, Ohio, in the Miami County Standardbred Trot, John Stevenson (5, g, Thirty Two-HRs Curious-Armbro Iliad), driven by Sam Noble III for owners James and Billy Crane, won in a time of 2:04 over Carry A Thirty Two and Mac Port, who was placed third after his time was disallowed.

The Signature Series returns to the Miami County Fair in Troy tonight with the Ed Morgan Memorial Pace.
