Broadway Hall colt tops German sale

Elano F Boko, a colt sired by Broadway Hall and out of Shae Boko, she by Pine Chip, fetched the highest price at the German Grand Prix sale last weekend, as he was sold for $84,000.

The dam has earlier brought Adonis Boko (sired by Ken Warkentin) 2:02.5, $53,300 and multiple classic winner in The Netherlands and Bloom Boko (sired by Cantab Hall) 1:56, $61,800.

Two yearlings sired by the hot Muscle Hill was sold for $46,700 (a colt, Paparazzi Diamant, out of Neat Knees, the dam of Ooga Booga 1:55.2, $104,820) and $24,600 (a filly, Pantsnsox Diamant, out of Jeansandatshirt 1:57.3f, $49,389).

A total of 45 yearlings went through the ring and were sold for an average price of $17,466, up nearly 14 percent compared to last year’s sale.
