Delaware, OH — The sophomore trotter Buckeye Man won three races in June to be named the Ohio Horse of the Month by the members of the Ohio Chapter of the U.S. Harness Writers Association.

Buckeye Man swept the preliminary legs of the Dream of Glory Trotting Series for owners Ronald Fuller and Deirdre Hotton. The sophomore son of Jailhouse Jesse-China Score suffered his only defeat in June by a head in the $15,000 series final on June 25.

In the second series leg, Sam Noble III guided Buckeye Man to a lifetime best 1:56.4.

The connections of Buckeye Man will be presented an Ohio Horse of the Month certificate by Ohio Chapter President Dean Hoffman in the winner’s circle at Scioto Downs.
