Buckeye Stallion Series continues Wednesday at Scioto Downs

Columbus, OH — The 3-year-old filly trotters and 2-year-old colt trotters will be racing Wednesday (July 17) at Eldorado Scioto Downs in the Buckeye Stallion Series.

There are 18 fillies racing in the third leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series, which will be contested as races one and three.

In race one, two leg two winners from June 12 return, Nice And Shiny As (Stormin Normand-Follonica) and She’s On A Misson (Manofmanymissions-Cecada). Both fillies are looking to get that win that will bring their 2018 earnings to more than $20,000.

Momentsoffire (Winning Fireworks-KT Pricelessmoment) and Bugs MVP (My MVP-Char Catie Becca), both winners in the first leg at Miami Valley on May 7, will also be in race one. Bugs MVP also has three fair wins this season at Marion, London and Bellefontaine.

Kellie’s MVP (My MVP-Adriana Hanover) will be in race three. She has three wins this season including leg two of the Buckeye Stallion Series.

Proxierigs (Big Rigs-Proxie Promised) won at London on July 7. Triumphant Swing (Triumphant Caviar-Swing Anna Miss) has four 2018 wins with her last two at Wilmington on July 9 and Wellston on July 14.

There will be 29 2-year-old colt trotters competing in races two, five and seven.

Race two has two first-time starters, Curious Winner (Dejarmbro-Future Talent) and Dynamic Ridge (Uncle Peter-Frannie’s Ridge). Surprize Mission (Manofmanymissions-Prize Chip) and Sv Payton Place (Wishing Stone-Miss Payton) both return after winning in leg one on July 3. Sv Payton Place just won at Bellefontaine on July 11.

Buckeyeonbroadway (Dejarmbro-Dream On Broadway) and Ondine (Wishing Stone-Village Ballet), both leg one winners, return and will be in race five. Roscoe Village (Broadway Hall-Abbey Craig) will be joining them, coming from a win at Bellefontaine.

Race seven will see two colts that are returning winners from leg one, Joe Gotta Go (Neely Dunn-My Chere) and Hall N Bro (Dejarmbro-Hall-N-Flori).

The 2-year-old filly pacers will be next on the Buckeye Stallion Series schedule at Eldorado Scioto Downs on Thursday (July 19).
