Buckeye Stallion Series to open at Miami Valley Gaming

Grove City, OH — The Buckeye Stallion Series is back and will begin the 2019 season Wednesday (May 1) with the 3-year-old filly pacers and trotters competing at Miami Valley Gaming. There are great prizes awaiting the winners of these races besides a purse of $17,500. There are nine races, five filly pace races with 44 horses and four filly trot races with 32 horses.

The first race of the series will be race four. Heythere Lisamarie (Pet Rock-Sunshine State) is in her second year of racing. In 2018 she earned $35,081 and had 11 wins in the Ohio Fair Stakes across Ohio. So far this year she has four starts with $7,125 in earnings and came off a recent win at Miami Valley Gaming on April 20 in 1:56.

Whiz Bang Winner (McArdle-Bang The Door) has earned $5,137 this year with three starts and won her last race April 28 at Miami Valley in 1:56.

Two more starters, both with more than $2,000 in earnings this year include Hotter Than Hill (Nob Hill High-Nuke Warm) and Feelinupbeat (Feelin Friskie-Last Sam Standing).

The next division of pacers are in race six. Reraise (Yankee Cruiser-Scooch) has earned $7,540 with five starts this year with her last win April 7 at Miami Valley Gaming in 1:54.3. Sleepin In The Sun (McArdle-Love Power) will make her seventh start of the year. She finished second in her last race at Northfield Park, bringing her 2019 earnings to $3,895. There are two fillies that both have $1,200 in earnings this year, Officially My Way (Art Official-Eagle Way) and Ifeellikesassy (Pet Rock-Ifeellikelaughing).

Race eight will see Dragonfly (Dragon Again-Wild D Won) who won her division in 2018 in the 2-year-old Parshall Futurity at Greenville and the Standardbred for 2-year-old fillies at the Delaware County Fair. She has four starts in 2019 with earnings of $3,700.

Machs Dragon (Dragon Again-Machs Delicacy) is in her first year of racing. She has six starts and won March 24 at Miami Valley Gaming and has earnings of $12,400. Rock Me Cristal (Rockin Amadeus-Cristal Daddy Girl) has two starts and $1,380 in earnings this year.

The final 3-year-old filly pace race will be the 12th race. Rocking Zoe (Pet Rock-Hoosier Cruiser) is coming off a win in her last start on April 22 at Miami Valley Gaming where she finished in 1:54.4. Dawnna Marie (McArdle-Lovely Dawn) has earned $1,500 from her one start on April 23 where she finished second in 1:55.1.

The trotting fillies will compete in races five, seven, nine and 11.

Race five will see Supreme Lady (Knight Of Intrigue-Open The Case) return. She won the fourth leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series in 2018 at the Delaware County Fair. She and MS Toni (My MVP-Unfazed) are both racing in their third start of 2019. Buckeye Starlet (Uncle Peter-Vitamin M) has four starts this year with two wins at The Meadows and has earned $11,100 this year.

Peter’s Dream (Uncle Peter-Dream Of Royalty) will make race seven her sixth start of the season. The Uncle Peter filly has earned $3,950 this year and her last win was March 13 at Northfield. My Pure Honey (My MVP-Honey Mesquite) is in her first year of racing and has earned $5,500 so far in 2019.

In race nine, watch for Twentyfour K Magic (Dontyouforgetit-Magic Memory) and Feel Invincible As (Broadway Hall-There’s A Way). This is their second year competing in the Buckeye Stallion Series. Twentyfour K Magic has four starts this year that include a win April 17 and two second place finishes at Northfield Park, bringing her current earnings to $7,625. Feel Invincible As won two legs of the Buckeye Stallion Series in 2018 and a leg of the Ohio Sire Stakes. Her first 2019 start was April 22 at Miami Valley Gaming where she finished second in 1:55.2.

The final 3-year-old filly trot race for the first leg of the Buckeye Stallion Series will be race 11. Fingerinthefrostin (Stormin Normand-Action On Lavec) is back. She won the Buckeye Stallion Series fourth leg at the Delaware County Fair in 2018. This is her second start back in 2019.

Two Uncle Peter fillies, Petra (Uncle Peter-Incredible Fortuna) and Majestic Lexi (Uncle Peter-Majestic Taglet), are both looking for a win after getting seconds at Northfield during their last start in April.
