Wilkes-Barre, PA — Ron Burke and George Napolitano, Jr. are the leaders at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs as the 136-day meet nears the halfway mark of the 2010 season.

The Monday night card of July 19 will be the 68th race day of the meet and Burke has collected 49 training wins through this past Wednesday night while Lou Pena is next with 42 victories.

On the driver side, Napolitano is leading the way with 171 wins to 165 for Jim Morrill, Jr. Napolitano last won the driver title (for wins) in 2006 with 312. In fact, he was the “king” at Mohegan Sun at Pocono from 2003 through 2006. Napolitano established the all-time mark of 347 wins in 2004.

Napolitano is planning on changing his schedule to drive all four days at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. Currently, he has passed up Wednesdays at the Northeastern Pennsylvania track.
