Columbus, OH —- The Indianapolis Business Journal on Thursday (Nov. 16) reported that Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corp. is in the final stages of negotiations to buy Centaur Gaming’s Hoosier Park racetrack/casino in Anderson and Indiana Grand racetrack/casino in Shelbyville.
Citing a report on Bloomberg News, the article stated that a deal — which if approved could create a gambling juggernaut in Indiana — could be announced this week, with the purchase price likely topping $1 billion.
