Cal Expo incentive program announced

Sacramento, CA — The California Harness Horsemen’s Association, in partnership with the new Cal Expo harness operator Watch and Wager LLC, has announced a new horse incentive plan for the meeting that is set to open on Friday (Nov. 2) and will run through May 11, 2013.

Each new horse, defined as a trotter or pacer who has not raced at Cal Expo since June 18, 2011, will receive a $750 incentive that will be credited to the owners’ account after its initial Cal Expo start.

The new horse must be approved by the Director of Racing and is limited to the first 150 new horses.
