Calling all top active and older Ohio-sired horses

from Hollywood Dayton Raceway

Dayton, OH — Hollywood Dayton Raceway will host four $50,000 Ohio Sires Stakes championship races for older Buckeye-bred horses on Saturday (Oct. 15).

There was no nomination fee for these races this year, so owners and trainers of all competitive Ohio pacers and trotters ages four and up should consider this opportunity. The races will be divided by both sex and gait.

Conditions call for maximum nine-horse fields with the highest 2016 money earners, counting only races conducted in the state of Ohio from Jan. 1 through Oct. 1, comprising the fields. There is a $500 starting fee due for every horse that draws into one of the $50,000 races.

Horses must be entered by 10 a.m. on Tuesday (Oct. 11) for the quartet of $50,000 Ohio Sires Stakes championships on Oct. 15. Entries may be submitted via the USTA Online Entry option, or by calling the Hollywood Dayton Race Office at 937.235.7860.
