East Rutherford, NJ — On Tuesday (June 18) the Meadowlands Racetrack held a camel and ostrich racing preview event with local sportscasters including Steve Overmyer of CBS 2 and Dyrol Joyner of PIX 11.

Meadowlands GM Jason Settlemoir took part in last year’s camel races.

Both the camels and ostriches will be racing for charity on Saturday (June 22).

The winning charities will receive $1,000 courtesy of the Meadowlands Racetrack.

These unique races will be held this Saturday in between live harness racing.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with the first horse race at 7:15 p.m.
