Cane Pace featured on “Eye”

by John Pawlak, the U.S. Trotting Association

Columbus, OH — The Cane Pace elimination, action among 3-year-old trotting colts on two fronts, and a “Look Back” at Canadian Pacing Derby history will be featured on the Thursday, Sept. 2, edition of “Eye on Harness Racing,” the U.S. Trotting Association’s online video magazine.

An interview with Sam DePinto, the trainer of 2010 Cane Pace contender BG’s Folly, will also be part of the show, as will a look at the National Racing Compact and its national racing license — a tool almost certainly underutilized in all of racing.

Eye on Harness Racing, sponsored by TrackMaster, may be seen by visiting www.ustrotting.com or youtube.com/ustrotting. At the latter website, the USTA’s Youtube channel, you can also see past editions of the program — and dozens of other harness racing videos.

The USTA also has a “Media” page at its website, at www.ustrotting.com/media/media.cfm, where all USTA-produced videos and audio podcasts may also be seen or heard.
