Captaintreacherous is featured on ‘Eye on Harness Racing’

from the USTA Communications Department

Columbus, OH — Captaintreacherous has been away from the races, but that will change in this Saturday’s Battle of the Brandywine. His trainer, Tony Alagna, will update us on the preparation for his return on this week’s edition of “Eye on Harness Racing,” the U.S. Trotting Association’s weekly online video news magazine.

In addition, Rob Key, CEO and founder of Converseon, will discuss his firm’s plans to devise a social media strategy for the USTA and the sport of harness racing in a special “Focus on Harness Racing” interview.

TrackMaster is once again the sponsor of Eye on Harness Racing. Trackmaster, along with TVG and the USTA would like to announce the $5,000 “Big 5” Harness Handicapping Challenge.

Free to enter and free to play, there will be five weekly chances to participate — every Saturday from Aug. 10 thru Sept. 7. Five finalists advance each week by making five picks from any of five featured tracks. Trackmaster will be providing free programs and handicapping data to contest participants and with more than $5,000 in cash and prizes up for grabs in the finals on Sept. 14, you don’t want to miss it! Visit www.trackmaster.com/contest to register and find out more.

Eye on Harness Racing may be seen by clicking on the above link or by visiting www.ustrotting.com/video/. At the latter website, the USTA’s Vimeo channel, you can also see past editions of the program — and dozens of other harness racing videos.
