Sacramento, CA — There is a Super High 5 carryover of $8,087 on Cal-Expo’s Thursday night (July 2) program with the pool estimated to be $20,000 when all is said and done. The Super High 5 is decided on the eighth race, which brings together a full field of claiming pacers.

There will also be a pair of guarantees on tap this weekend, with every Friday night through the end of the meeting featuring a $10,000 guaranteed pool for the Late Pick 4, while the same applies for the Saturday evening Super High 5 wager.

The debut of the $10,000 guarantees came last week. The Friday Late Pick 4 returned a cool $5,698 for each $1 investment, due in large part to the upsets by Mudflap ($35) and Rod’s Famous Ribs ($15). Last Saturday’s Super High 5 went unhit, resulting in Thursday’s carryover.
