Pompano Beach, FL — A trio of carryovers and a trio of guaranteed pools will greet patrons on Monday evening (Dec. 8) at Pompano Park.

The action will get started early, with a $2,352 superfecta carryover in the opener and a $1,582 50 cent Pick-5 carryover beginning in race two. Track officials have guaranteed both pools at $7,500.

The 50 cent Pick-4 will begin as usual with race five, featuring a $5,000 guaranteed pool. The Pick-4 features the $5,000 guarantee on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.

The 20 cent Jackpot Hi-Five eluded fans in Saturday night’s finale, with 62-1 longshot Mach It Paiden (Dave Ingraham) getting up in the final strides. One unique ticket would have taken down the entire jackpot, but with no winners the Monday night finale will feature a $5,559 carryover.

Live racing is now on a five-night per week schedule at Pompano Park, with a first post of 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday evenings.
