Columbus, OH —  Gamblers weren’t able to take down the Pick-5 pools at Hawthorne Race Course (Feb. 29) and Rosecroft Raceway (Feb. 26) creating major value heading into Sunday night (March 1).

Juan Franco guided two big upsets in OK Galahad ($91.00) and Parklane Eagle ($36.00) to close the Pick-5 at Hawthorne creating a rare double carryover scenario.  Sporting a carryover of $29,791 Hawthorne will guarantee the Pick-5 beginning in race one at $100,000.

Hawthorne also has many other carryovers to note with a carryover in the Early Pick-4 ($3,053), Pick-6 ($903), and Late Pick-4 ($10,477).  The Late Pick-4 normally guaranteed at $20,000 will feature a $40,000 guaranteed pool.

Two longshot winners on Wednesday night in the Pick-5 helped to create value at Rosecroft as they feature a carryover of $1,524 and a $5,000 guaranteed pool.
