The 10-year-old son of Cash Hall flashed early speed and cruised to the top from post eight. Though he had to work hard to get the lead in a :27.2 first quarter, Cash Me Out got a breather from driver Phil Fluet before reaching the half in :57.2 while the favored Bridge Works (Wally Hennessey) got the pocket ride. Cash Me Out fended off a challenge from Gettin Messi (Chris Long) around the final turn before holding off Bridge Works to equal his seasonal best.

Cash Me Out, whose victory came in his 250th career start, paid $21.20 to win. The Kyle Spagnola trainee has earned over $1.3 million and won 67 races in his career.

Live racing at Saratoga continues on Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 8); post time is 12 noon.
