Columbus, OH — The CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley is scheduled to broadcast an update on Friday (Aug. 5) of their Oct. 23, 2015 story on 11-year-old Breana Carsey and her trotting colt MJB Got Faith, winner of four legs of the Ohio Sire Stakes and the $225,000 final last year.

The story will air as part of the “On the Road with Steve Hartman” segment.

Last month, the USTA received a request from a CBS News producer and provided video footage of Carsey receiving the U.S. Harness Writers Association’s President’s Award at the Dan Patch Awards dinner on March 6 in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.

The original segment last October entitled, “Off to the races: Meet the little horse that could,” included footage of Carsey watching MJB Got Faith’s Sire Stakes final victory at Scioto Downs, which was shot by the USTA’s Rich Johnston and also provided to CBS News for their story.
