Fraserville, ON — Saturday (June 10) is Kawartha Downs’ annual Celebration of the Horse night with lots of fun activities and events for the whole family.

The track will be presenting two miniature horse races, the first following race two, the second after the fourth race. Come and cheer on these adorable tiny equines who will be available to meet and greet the fans after their races.

Hands On Horses are back at Kawartha and fans will have the opportunity to win a chance to ride behind a Standardbred around the five-eighths mile racetrack.

The kids will enjoy the Kids Activity Center and the nightly Kids Club draw as well as regular prize draws and giveaways throughout the evening. Enter the Oldies Father’s Day contest for a chance to win C$1,700 in prizes.

Also featured this evening is the first of three trackside dinners this race meet. Tonight’s dinner is grilled chicken on a bun with Greek Pasta Salad, drink and ice cream for C$12.

The trackside dinner begins at 6 p.m. and racing action gets underway at 7 p.m. Parking and admission are always free.
