Chapter Seven share sets sales record at onGait.com

Boca Raton, FL – A share in Chapter Seven sold for a record $152,000 on Friday (March 4) afternoon at onGait.com. Steve Finkelstein’s Jesmeral Stable of New York was the winning bidder.

After winning nearly $2 million on the racetrack, Chapter Seven retired to stud in 2013 and has since sired numerous world class trotters such as Atlanta, Gimpanzee and Walner.

Combined earnings of his foals exceed $39 million. The $152,000 price tag makes it the most expensive Chapter Seven share to change hands.

Currently in the onGait auction ring are breedings to some of the sport’s more popular sires: Captaintreacherous, Greenshoe, American Ideal, Perfect Sting and Tactical Landing.

Racehorses being offered include A New Leader 3,1:56.4f, a 3-year-old son of Trixton with just two career starts; the Uncle Peter 3-year-old Uncle Kip 3,1:59.1f; and All In Jest p,3,1:57.4h, a race ready 3-year-old by Bettor’s Delight.
