Chapter Seven’s sister tops Monday’s onGait.com auctions

Boca Raton, FL — Chapter And Verse, a half-sister to 2012 Horse of the Year and leading sire Chapter Seven, sold on Monday afternoon (April 19) at onGait.com, bringing a high bid of $35,800 from Giuseppe Pietrasanta of Italy.

The 6-year-old daughter of Credit Winner is in foal to Six Pack. Steve Jones’ Cameo Hills Farm was the seller.

Also on Monday, 3-year-old broodmare prospect Hey There Delilah was haltered by Indiana’s Daryl Miller for $23,300. From the first crop of Bar Hopping, Hey There Delilah took a freshman mark of 1:55.3. The partnership of Ervin Miller Stable Inc., Michael Anderson and Harvey Eisman were the sellers.

Among the horses presently in the ring are Majestic Marvel 1:53f-’21 ($261,346), a winner of his last three starts at Dover; Village Artist p,3,1:53.1s, a 4-year-old mare by Art Major who was racing at Mohawk Park prior to the shutdown; and broodmare prospect Sweet Tart, a daughter of Sweet Lou out of $500,000 winner Honky Tonk Woman p,3,1:50.2s.
