Laura, OH — A charity auction held in conjunction with the traditional Pre-Jug party is scheduled for Wednesday, September 19, in the VIP Tent immediately following the Jugette. Guests will enjoy gourmet hor d’oeurves, drinks, music, and friendly competition to win the bid on a variety of exciting items and services.

Tom Harmer and Michael Polansky have donated a custom painted Advantage Pro II Race Bike, complete with wheels. There is also a live paint miniature horse; vacation packages on Marco Island, Hilton Head and Cape Haze; Tim Tetrick’s driving colors; Jug memorabilia; stallion seasons; vet services; and more.

Breakfast for four with Mickey Burke is among the unique offerings.

“What a tremendous opportunity to pick the brain of the leading trainer in the nation,” said New Vocations Executive Director Dot Morgan. “The Breakfast Package is for four guests and includes VIP Tent privileges all day at the Jug.”

The proceeds of the charity auction go to benefit New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program and the Delaware County Fair.
