Check Me Out cuts into San Pail’s lead in Poll

Freehold, NJ — San Pail continues as the No. 1-ranked horse in the weekly Hambletonian Society/Breeders Crown Top 10 poll, but he is no longer the unanimous choice.
Check Me Out, who overcame a break to win her Matron Stakes final this past Saturday, gained three first-place votes this week and is in second place for the second consecutive poll.
Messenger Stakes winner Roll With Joe has climbed into third place and American-National victor Foiled Again is now fourth.
Two new horses cracked the Top 10. Economy Terror, who set a world record in winning the Three Diamonds, checks in seventh and Betterthancheddar, who captured his American-National split this past Saturday, is ninth.
