Sacramento, CA — The California Harness Horsemen’s Association and Watch and Wager LLC have agreed to a ten percent across the board purse increase effective this Saturday April 18.

The trotters and pacers are in action at Cal Expo on Saturday and Sunday nights, with Saturday’s post now changing to 6:55 p.m. and Sunday racing getting underway at 5 p.m. Closing night of the current meeting is Sunday May 3.

“We want to thank all our horsemen who put on a great show and made the meet successful this season” said Chris Schick General Manager of Watch and Wager LLC. “We recognize that horsemen have plenty of options this time of year, and want to reward those that remain to meets end”.

Watch and Wager LLC has recently exercised two option years with Cal Expo. Current plans call for the fall meeting to begin in late October.
