Kuyt F. Boko (named after a famous Dutch soccer player) was bred by Boko Stables and was sold at the Wenngarn Sale in Sweden last year for 550,000 SEK or $57,000 to Dutch owner Stable Why Not.

Leading Dutch trainer Paul Hagoort campaigns Kuyt F. Boko, who came to the Breeders Course final with two victories in as many starts.

Down the stretch, it looked as if Pucks Bounce (sired by Scarlet Knight) with Erik Adielsson in the bike was going to win, but a late burst from Kuyt F. Boko with Robin Bakker turned the tables, and Kuyt F. Boko won by a head.

The purse for the winner was $62,000 and Kuyt F. Boko now has earnings of $76,000.
