The Jimmy Takter-trained Corky has been sold to Sweden interests and will join the stable of Stig H. Johansson at Solvalla.
The 4-year-old Corky, who last year finished third in the Hambletonian and won races like the Earl Beal Memorial, has been campaigned in Europe this year. After finishing fourth in his European debut in Copenhagen, he has two very impressive victories at Solvalla.
Corky, who is sired by Muscles Yankee and out of Clarice Marie, was bred by Lynn M. Baker and was sold at the Lexington Selected Sale for $100,000 to Christina Takter and John and Jim Fielding.
Corky has raced 25 times in North America and won seven races, was nine times second and three times third with earnings of $897,465. He has a mark of 1:52.4f.
