The Jimmy Takter-trained Corky was once again a very impressive winner on Wednesday (June 11) at Solvalla.

Corky won a leg in the Solvalla Series for 4-year-old trotters.

Driven by top driver Erik Adielsson, Corky won a leg in the Solvalla Series for 4-year-old trotters over 1-1/4 miles in a new Swedish record of 1:55.3f (mile rate).

He could have gone faster, if necessary, Adielsson said after the win, which was worth $15,000.

So far Corky has won two races, along with a fourth place finish, in Europe and a total of $93,500.

Corky is owned by Christina Takter together with John and Jim Fielding.
