“I feel so sorry for my owner of Creatine, but promise that I will never race in Sweden again unless every horse has its nose on the gate,” said Jimmy Takter on Twitter.

Nimbus CD won the Jubilee Prize in a mile rate of 1:55.1f.

Takter was not a happy man after Creatine finished out of the money in the Jubilee Prize (1-5/16th mile distance) for 5-year-old trotters at Solvalla on Wednesday night (Aug. 19).

Creatine, driven by Johnny Takter, had to race from the second tier and never found any racing room and finished just out of the money with lots of power to spare.

The race became a super sprint, controlled by the favorite Nimbus CD, driven by Ôrjan Kihlström, who was able slow down the fractions at the first half of the race to around :59. Nimbus CD won easily in 1:55.1f (mile rate) followed by the Norwegian trotter Papagayo E, driven by Erik Adielsson, who enjoyed a pocket trip.

The purse for winner was $120,000.

Nimbus CD is a 5-year-old gelding sired by Mythical Lindy. He was bought last year by the famous Swedish hockey player, Mats Sundin, who owns six trotters.

Nuncio, driven by Stefan Melander, was also in action at Solvalla and won a race over the 1-5/16th mile distance, jogging in 1:54.4f (mile rate).

On the same card the European Championship for mares over the 1-5/16th mile distance, with a purse for the winner of $75,000, was won by Youana with Erik Adielsson in 1:55.4f (mile rate).

Youana is sired by Pearsall Hanover and has lifetime earnings of $300,000.
