Vernon, NY — Vernon Downs will host a pair of stakes for the top older trotters this Friday (Sept. 18) with the Credit Winner and the last preliminary leg of the Miss Versatility scheduled for that evening.

The Credit Winner, sponsored by Blue Chip Farms, will see the highest purse in its brief history offered in this edition, estimated at more than $175,000.

The $25,000 third and last leg of the Miss Versatility will set the stage for the $120,000 (est.) final to be raced on Jug day at the Delaware County fair.
