CW Raisinette was a narrow winner in the Open Handicap Trot.

Trainer/driver Steve Wiseman got her away alertly from the rail position in the eight-horse field and secured the early pocket, then brushed to the lead at the three-eighths marker. From there CW Raisinette ($3.40) looked comfortable at every call and benefitted from a breaking horse late in the stretch to hold on for the victory by a half-length in 1:57.4 to keep her win streak alive.

The sharp trotter is trained by part-owner Kathie Plested-Wiseman who shares ownership with A Piece of The Action, LLC.

In the $13,000 2-year-old Minnesota-Sired Pace, Watchmeneighneigh ($3.60) scored his first lifetime win in 1:57.3 with driver James Yoder aboard for trainer Robert Lems and owner Richard Davelaar. The impressive gelding is by Voracious Hanover.

Driver Steve Wiseman led on Tuesday night with another hat trick, placing him four wins ahead of Nick Roland in the top driver standings.

The 20-cent Pick-5 Jackpot has now grown to $47,257.01 for this coming Saturday night (Aug. 26).
