Freehold, NJ — The memorabilia collection of Dan Patch aficionados Bob and Thelma Glaspie will be on display Saturday (September 27) in the grandstand at The Red Mile in Lexington, Kentucky.

The Glaspies, who live in Dan Patch’s hometown of Oxford, Indiana, have been collecting Dan Patch memorabilia for decades and have a broad range of items.

The Glaspies contributed research for the Charles Leerhsen book, Crazy Good: The True Story of Dan Patch, The Most Famous Horse in America.

Leerhsen will be signing his book at The Red Mile also on Saturday, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Proceeds benefit the preservation of the Stable of Memories/Round Barn.
