Dance With Joe, driven by Richard Simard, posts his third straight win Tuesday at Hippodrome 3R.

In the third-race pace, Dance With Joe and driver Richard Simard unleashed a burst of speed from third-over in the backstretch and looped the field by the three-quarters, then cruised home to win by 4-1/4 lengths in 1:55.2. It was the third straight win for the 5-year-old gelded son of Roll With Joe.

Trained by Christine Davignon and owned by Daniel Dulude of Ste-Martine, Dance With Joe paid $3.10 to win. It was his third win in six starts this year and the fastest mile on the race card.

Undefeated Kinnder Jackson, with Justin Filion in the sulky, scored his third straight win with an easy wire-to-wire 2:01 triumph by three-quarters of a length. The 3-year-old gelding by Allamerican Native is owned, bred and trained by Denitza Petrova of Melbourne and paid $2.40 to win.

In the featured race, 9-1 long shot Maximus Decimus and driver Stephane Brosseau traded the lead with My Lucky Blue Jeans (Guy Gagnon) before then taking control for good by the half-mile marker and never letting anyone else pass them by. Hooter Shooter (Stephane Gendron), the race favorite, tried going three-wide in the backstretch the final time but could not catch the leaders.

Maximus Decimus went on to win by 1-1/4 lengths in 1:57.3. It was the first win this year for the 8-year-old gelding by Rambaran, who is trained and owned by Charles Gaudreault of Mont-Joli. He paid $20.00 to win.

Live racing resumes at Hippodrome 3R on Sunday (June 10), with first-race post time at 12:50 p.m. For more information, visit www.quebecjockeyclub.com.
