Dover, DE — Dancing Rusty was in perfect step as Brad Hanners guided the 9-1 shot to a victory in the $15,500 featured pace over a ‘good’ track on Sunday (Jan. 22) at Dover Downs.

Hanners made good use of leaving from post one, getting Dancing Rusty to the lead past the opening quarter and then was first at all the remaining posts for a 1:55.2 upset victory in the feature for young male pacers.

The altered son of Ponder-Graceful Motion, owned by Frank Condurso and Myers Racing Stable, was by followed by Windemere Royal (Frank Milby) and Jolt Demanded (Jon Roberts), second and third, respectively.

Hanners had a trio of winners while drivers Jim Morand and Tim Tetrick, trainers Les Givens and Jim King, and owners Nanticoke Racing and Jim King, each won two races.
