Rock N Soul (Yannick Gingras) was first to the lead in the :27.1 quarter, with A And G’s Princess behind her. Dancinwiththestarz was out and challenging for the lead just after the quarter-mile mark and led the field to the :55 half.

Put On A Show (Tim Tetrick) made a strong challenge at the three-quarters, but couldn’t get by the leader and backed off the pace. Dancinwiththestarz led all the way home to win by 1-3/4 lengths with Rock N Soul second and A and G’s Princess (David Miller) third.

Dancinwiththestarz is owned by W Springtime Racing and Shannon Brott and is trained by Mark Harder.

“I thought I needed to be up close, getting on Put On A Show’s back. I thought that might be my best chance to beat her,” said driver Brian Sears. “I moved her to the front, got some pretty soft fractions and the filly’s just been getting better and better. It was a tremendous effort and what she did today with the track record, it’s very impressive. Last week (second place finish in the Mistletoe Shalee eliminations) I think was the best mile she ever put in in her life and she came back to this today.”
