Daniel Irving, 61, dies

Columbus, OH — Daniel Irving, 61, son of Joanne Irving of Boca Raton, Florida and the late veteran horseman, Dana Irving, died at his home in Lowville, New York, after a short battle with cancer.

Mr. Irving was a classic car enthusiast and a meticulous mechanic who worked for many years for Lana Lobell Farm and Dr. Kenneth Seeber on Maple Ridge Farm before starting Irving’s Customs.

He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Ellen; daughter, Tina Jo; horseman brother, Donald (Sandy); nephews, Brandon and Eric; stepchildren, Michelle (Joe) LaBuz, Douglas (Julie) Gafney, Richard (Adrienne) Gafney and Kati Gafney; and five grandchildren.

A tree in his memory was planted at the Lewis County Agriculture Fairgrounds in Lowville, New York, close to his home.
