Danish trotter Tycoon Conway Hall equals world record

The 12-year-old Tycoon Conway Hall with trainer/driver Flemming Jensen won at the Tingsryd track in Sweden Wednesday night (June 8) in 1:52.1, equaling the world record for 12-year-old trotters held by Spice It Up Lindy.

Tycoon Conway Hall (sired by Conway Hall and out of Golden Sunday, she by Supergill) made headlines earlier this year, winning at Aby in 1:52.3f.

In many way Tycoon Conway Hall is a remarkable trotter — and a tough one. He was a top horse from the first day he set his hooves on the track, not only nationally in Denmark but also in Scandinavia, and among his finest victories is the Finlandia Ajo.

In November 2018, Tycoon Conway Hall was sidelined because of issues with a hoof and he was retired from racing and sent to stud. Time went by and the hoof became ok and Tycoon Conway Hall went back in training as a 10-year-old. Since then, he has raced 30 times, won nine races and earned more than $140,000.

In 2020 and 2021 he was timed in 1:52.3f and now in 2022 as a 12-year-old in 1.52.1.

He holds a record from 2016, where he was timed in 1:51.3f in the Aabergs Memorial at Jägersro.

His first crop will hit the tracks this year.
